Pike County Jail Roster Overview
The public Pike County inmate roster is hosted through ADSi Online Jail Roster for the Pike County MS Sheriff. It is a list-based roster, not a captured search form in the public text reviewed during research. The active list shows a running count, inmate name fields, booking date, arrest agency, court, and court date or time. The count changed during the research window, from one snapshot to another, so the number should be read as a custody snapshot and not as the jail's rated capacity.
The Pike County Detention Center receives bookings from the Pike County Sheriff's Department under Sheriff Bryant "Wally" Jones, McComb Police Department, Magnolia Police Department, Summit Police Department, Osyka Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, MDOC, other agencies, and self-surrenders. That mix matters. A person arrested by McComb police or another city agency can still appear on the Pike County jail list if the person was booked into the county detention center.
The roster does not cover every custody setting. People sentenced to state corrections custody should be searched through the Mississippi Department of Corrections inmate search. Federal prisoners use the BOP inmate locator, and immigration detainees use ICE ODLS. The sheriff site also links VINE through VINELink for custody-status notifications where Pike County data is available.
Use the Pike County Inmate Roster
Start with the active list when the question is current jail custody. If the booking is new, check recent bookings before assuming the person was released or never brought to Pike County Detention Center. The upcoming court tab is useful for near-term jail-linked court dates, but it is not a full court docket and should not replace Pike County court records.
- Open the Pike County ADSi active inmate list and read the active count as a current roster snapshot.
- Scan by last name and first name. If the page exposes no search box in the browser view, use browser find on desktop.
- Confirm the booking date and arrest agency. The arrest agency can explain why a city arrest appears in the county jail.
- Open recent bookings when the arrest just happened or the person does not appear in the main list.
- Use upcoming court appearances for the next seven-day jail court tab, then confirm formal court records with the clerk.
- Call Pike County Detention Center at (601) 783-2324 when spelling, release, transfer, or another agency hold is unclear.
For a visual match to the public roster, the manifest screenshot of the ADSi active inmate list shows the Pike County active-inmate table and its public columns.
The screenshot reflects the list-style access method described in the research: the roster confirms custody status at list level, while more detailed charges, bond, or housing fields may require a call or records request.
Pike County Roster Fields
The ADSi roster fields are display fields in the inspected public view. They help identify the right person and the source of the booking, but they are not the same as a full criminal case file. The court fields often showed N/A during research, which is why a Pike County inmate record should be paired with clerk or MEC records once charges are filed.

Pike County Inmate Record Details
The Pike County ADSi record inventory is useful but limited. It confirms list-level custody and booking information. It did not expose a full detail page with mugshot, charge list, bond amount, demographics, housing unit, or warrant number in the captured public text. That limit should guide how the record is used.

| Name | Last name, first name, middle name, and suffix when present. |
| Booking Date | The date the person was booked into the jail record. |
| Arrest Agency | The agency credited with arresting or holding the person. |

| Court Date( Time ) | A near-term date field exists, but many observed records showed N/A. |

Pike County Jail vs MDOC Lookup
County and state custody are easy to confuse in Magnolia because Pike County Detention Center and Pike County Community Work Center sit close to each other. The systems are different. The county jail roster is for local jail custody, including pretrial detainees, short local holds, municipal arrestees, and some state or other-agency holds. The Pike County CWC is an MDOC community work center for state sentenced offenders.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Current county jail custody | ADSi Pike roster | People held at Pike County Detention Center. |
| Recent county booking | ADSi recent bookings | Bookings since a displayed date. |
| Sentenced state custody | MDOC inmate search | State offenders by name or MDOC ID number. |
| Federal custody | BOP inmate locator | Federal prisoners by number or name. |
| Immigration custody | ICE ODLS | Immigration detainees, often outside Pike County. |
The MDOC locator screenshot from MDOC inmate search shows the state-level fields used after county jail custody is no longer the right system.
Use the MDOC ID number when known. If only a name is known, MDOC accepts first and last name fields, but common names may require more confirmation.
Pike County Jail Facilities
Pike County has one main local jail and one state corrections facility in the facility map. The county jail is the first stop for an arrest search. The community work center is a state facility, so family members should not rely on the county roster once MDOC custody controls placement.

Pike County Booking Process
Pike County booking starts with the arrest agency. After an arrest or self-surrender, the person is transported to Pike County Detention Center, identified, searched, booked, and entered into the jail system. The public-facing roster may appear after staff complete enough intake data to publish the list entry. The roster does not state a refresh interval, so the safer reading is that it is updated regularly, not that it updates in real time.
After booking, a new charge usually moves toward first appearance or bond review in Justice Court, County Court, Municipal Court, or Circuit Court, depending on the charge and arrest source. Justice Court handles DUI, misdemeanor criminal cases, and traffic tickets issued by the State Highway Patrol and Pike County Sheriff's Department. Felony cases may begin in a lower court but can later be handled by the District Attorney and Circuit Court. For the court side of a case, use Pike County court records after a jail arrest.
Pike County Jail Visits
Visitation detail is strongest on the ADSi information tab. The sheriff visitation page exists but was marked Coming soon during research. ADSi states that inmate-provided visitor names control who may visit, no other visitors are allowed, each inmate has a predetermined visitation time, visitors should arrive early and sign in, and signed-in visitors remain outside the lobby until called or processed.
| Zone / Pod | Day | Time |
|---|---|---|
| E & G | Friday | 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM |
| JUV Male | Friday | 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM |
| F | Saturday | 08:00 AM - 08:45 AM |
| A | Saturday | 09:00 AM - 10:45 AM |
| B | Saturday | 01:00 PM - 02:15 PM |
| D | Saturday | 02:30 PM - 03:45 PM |
| C | Sunday | 02:30 PM - 03:15 PM |
The roster information screenshot from ADSi's information page is the source that carried the pod schedule during research.
Because the sheriff's own visitation page was still under construction, confirm the pod, visitor list, ID rule, and arrival process with the detention center before traveling.
Older Pike County Booking Records
Released or older inmate records may fall off the active roster. If the ADSi list does not show the person, use the detention phone line, the sheriff administrative office, or a written request under Mississippi public-records law. Ask for a jail docket entry, booking sheet, or booking-photo record by full name, booking date, arrest agency, and date of birth if known. Do not assume the sheriff accepts requests by email or charges a fixed fee unless the office publishes that detail.
Note: Confirm custody with Pike County Detention Center before sending money, planning a visit, or relying on a roster snapshot.
